The total live capacity of the Coarse Ore Stockpile will be 54 000 t, representing a total of 12 hours of live storage. Total stockpile capacity will be 508 144 t, representing 4,3 days of mill feed. A bulldozer may be used as required to remove the “dead” ore bed. The ore will be reclaimed from the stockpile by two or more of the four Crushed Ore Stockpile Discharge Conveyor Feeders and discharged on to the SAG Mill Feed Conveyor which is provided with a moisture detector and belt scale.

se nota que mientras la "live capacity" de la acumulación (stockpile) es de 54 000t, su capacidad total es de 508 144t, es decir diez veces más grande. Entiendo que la diferencia se debe a la presencia de lo que llaman 'the "dead" ore bed' (el lecho de mena que no se puede aprovechar), que limita su capacidad operativa en la práctica.
