interest, goods, item, property (for sale)

You could use the term "goods (for sale)" but, if it is clear that the context is the sale of company interests, then "sale of the interest in a company". For retail sales, it would be enough to use generic terms, such as "item (for sale)", "goods (for sale)" or "property (for sale)".
