If they wanted to say 'sap' thay would say so. Пластический only refers to the organic material that becomes the building blocks in the plant body. It does not include things like enzymes or energy-rich material such as ATP.

Yep, I think this is sap or resin or nutrient-rich substance.
There is probably a more formal botanical term but unless there is some kind of preservative being applied / incorporated into the trees, do some reasing based on sap or resin and see what settles out.
