Like many financial translators, I have also read a number of accounting textbooks, articles, and essays, and am quite acquainted with the common terminologies used in the field. For example, in accounting textbooks, "presented net of" is rarely encountered compared to "shown net of." The following results of my Google search will also bear me out:
The string "presented net of" +"balance sheet" has close to 24,500 Google hits. On the other hand "shown net of" +"balance sheet" has almost 480,000 Google hits. The ratio in favor of the latter is 20:1.
