Arabic term
رقم مطلق
Arabic to English
Bus/Financial
Finance (general)
The sentence is as follows:
تحديد مركز النقد الاجنبي الممنوح لكل مصرف على اساس رقم مطلق يعتبر اجراءا مرحليا سينتهي لاعمل به عند اكتمال برنامج توفيق اوضاع المصارف وتطبيق معايير كفاية راس المال
So they are talking about the determination of the "foreign exchange open position" on the basis of an ABSOLUTE FIGURE (?) being a temporary measure... If you agree with "absolute figure," please justify your answer: I am not too clear as what they mean by absolute figure here... If you have a better rendition, financially speaking, then please let me know, justifying your choice... Thanks...

That is how I understand it in your context. It is hard to regulate banking institutions by imposing "open" or "undetermined" figures.

Comment: "I guess what you meant was "specific" amount rather than "specified" or at least that's how it's said usually... Anyway, thanks for your help..."
