Comment: "I hoped for a second opinion to get a bit of confirmation. What you suggest sounds very likely. IS this the standard Poliush jargon term for CUTSIZE (BTW in papermaking it means "maly format" and refers to the size of a single sheet)

After calculating the estimated process rate, the blender runs at the CUTSIZE above or below this rate in order to keep the material between the two proximity switches.
As the blender learns the processing rate, it adjusts the CUTSIZE up or down depending upon the variations it sees in the processing rate.
