Recientemente encuentro con frecuencia el verbo "bancarizar" que veo que es neologismo. Estoy traduciendo un documento de un banco de EE UU en que dice: Thanks for banking with XXX Mutual. Pregunto: quedaria bien traducirlo como "gracias por bancarizar con XXX Mutual"?

New Query for 'bancarizar'. We have several good suggested translations of the source phrase. Regarding 'bancarizar', I've seen it and wondered what the neologism might mean. Clearly there's some difference of opinion on its connotations. A new query should be entered so that we can discuss it separately from the present source, giving context for its usage in a Spanish document or from several documents originating in different Spanish-speaking countries.

Gracias a todos! en relidad no pensaba usar "bancarizar" y de hecho he puesto algo asi como "gracias por utilizar nuestros servicios" Sólo queria sondear la opinion de los colegas si el famoso termino bancarizar podia extenderse a este caso.

Banking with Estimado José. Habría que formular la pregunta con el término que se desea traducir. De paso, bancarizar es un término que implica "fomentar el uso de servicios bancarios" . Creo que quedaría mejor algo como : "Gracias por operar con el Banco XXX"

Es un anuncio publicitario, por esto creo que hay que usar términos publicitarios que se adapten al país y no necesariamente a través de una traducción
Otros términos: por utilizar, por confiar en nuestro banco, etc.
