: I got 30 hits for 'non-comestible products' and well over a million hits for 'non-food products' on Google. Granted that 'non-comestible' gets over 75 thousand hits, it seems to mean non-edible, which differs from non-food.

But "comestible" without the non- in front gets several million hits. It is used in EU legioslation, e.g. "EU Legislation for the production of healthy milk (Reg. 853/2004) ... and the transportation of comestible agricultural products ...
