Personalized tabs on profile: Why does the counter reset every other day? Thread poster: Erik Hansson

Dear fellow ProZians,
Our profile contains two personalized tabs which both include a counter for visitors. Apparently these counters are reset by some automatic feature in ProZ, although we also have the chance to reset manually: [Reset counter] next to the counter.
Every other day when we check out these personalized pages we notice that the counters have been reset automatically quite recently, so we didn't have a chance to see how many visitors really found this te... See more Dear fellow ProZians,

I've hardly paid any attention to this, so I went to my personalized page to check things out. On the "Visitors" tab, I found a listing of visitors back to August 12. At the bottom of the main page is a total (which also reflects the traffic for a month).
Are you talking about something else perhaps? (If not, perhaps it's time to submit a support ticket...)

Thanks for your feedback. When mentioning "personliazied pages" I meant the tabs you can create by yourself, next to the default tabs Corporate Profile, Contact, Visitors, Settings and Profile Updater.

I didn't even realize the possibility to create pages like that existed. I need to do some ProZ homework (not just on this but on web mail, too).
I hope that Gaston can help you get to the bottom of your problem.

I fully agree with everything Patricia wrote. And I would love to know more about WinTitus, when and if it's offered in English (or Spanish).

I have checked the code, and I found the reason of these random counter resets. I have fixed the problem, so we should not see these random resets anymore.
