Dear colleagues,
I just got the following e-mail:
”Hello,
I'm Dan,Can the attached document be translated to Romanian before 16th of
July 2013.
Awaiting your response with the rate and charges.

I opened the attachment and it's an article on polio he had copied word for word off the internet.
Looks like a scam to me. Be careful!

I also received a very similar e-mail with an all caps attachment today:

From whence it came, I do not know. But... I deleted it promptly.

I will be thrilled to help you out ... but I need you to do some things first:
- send me a fake check for an amount way over what I requested, then
- blame it on your stupid secretary/ friend who wrote the wrong amount,
- ask me kindly to deposit the check and after I retain something for my trouble, send you
via Western Union the difference.
