Hi^^, I am Hong Gilsoon – a Korean freelancer providing high-quality yet economical translation services, namely translation, subtitling, proofreading, and transcription with 10 years of experience.

From 2011 until now, I have had chances to collaborate with various international organizations like interpreting for the training and workshop course on the ‘Physical Asset Operational Excellence Program’ for POSCO or 9-month working with ‘CAN International’ and ‘IL-Wha’ as operator.

My mother tongue is Korean and I have been learning English since high school, so translating from Korean to English and vice versa is not a huge problem for me. Also, my Japanese skill is at an intermediate level and I am able to use Chinese in conversations. Along with Vietnamese proficiency of 2-year studying at Hanoi University, translating and interpreting these five languages can be performed by me without hesitation. Currently, I work translating General, Technical and Marketing texts.

I also know how to use many CAT tools proficiently to get the best translation quality, such as Trados, MemoQ, Memsource, etc
