Bio

I have over 15 years’ experience as a freelance translator and
interpreter (English-Bulgarian-Russian) for Public Safety Canada, IRB
(Immigration and Refugee Board)-Toronto, Language Line Solutions and Language
Services Associates, USA. I specialize in medical, legal, public safety/border
security and financial interpretation over the phone.

 I am fluent in Bulgarian, Russian and English, with good command of the
French language. My language and teaching career includes teaching foreign languages,
interpreting and translating from/into English, Bulgarian and Russian. I have a
Master’s degree (Language Teacher and Translator/Interpreter) from the
University of Sofia, Bulgaria. I have also completed post-graduate courses in
methods of teaching foreign languages at the University of St. Petersburg, Russia.
