We are on, but we need more people! Dec 3, 2001

Hi there,

Please feel free to post your suggestions as to where we can meet. Anywhere in downtown DC? I am also trying to get more people sign up for our Powwow. We'll see, we still have time!

Downtown DC is good Dec 4, 2001

I work at McPherson Square and can be anywhere in downtown DC quite easily. There are places in Dupont Circle that would probably be great locations, or perhaps Adams Morgan? Depends on whether we plan on eating or noticon_smile.gif

If Dupont Circle, which is probably better overall, how about the Brickskeller? Or the restaurant that replaced Food for Thought?

If Adams Morgan, my favorites are Madam's Organ or the Toledo Lounge.

Brickskeller sounds good Dec 11, 2001

They have tons of space and the place is relatively quiet (so we won't have to yell: "What is your name??"). Besides, they have all those kinds of beer!

Brickskeller works for me! Dec 11, 2001

Beer variety is the spice of powwows. Casper, espamolly - what do you two say?

I got a camera. Dec 11, 2001

Nina: I don't know what's been planned; Ksenia can probably let you know about that. On another note, I have a digital camera at home I'd be glad to bring in for a couple of pictures, if you all think that would be worth the while.
