Texto de origem - inglês Tongariro was New Zealand's first national park, created following a gifting of the sacred central North Island peaks to the nation in 1887 by Paramount Chief Te Heuheu Tukino IV (Horonuku). Subsequently the park has been inscribed on the World Heritage List for its natural landscape and associative cultural landscape features.
Tongariro National Park attracts visitors either to walk over the many tracks around the mountains during the summer or to ski the snow clad slopes in winter. Kaimanawa Forest Park on the eastern boundary of the conservancy is a vast (77,348 hectares) largely unmodified expanse of native forest, shrublands and tussock grasslands and is a mecca for hunters. Lake Taupo and its tributaries is recognised worldwide for the quality of its trout fishing.

My name is Ana and I am a 30 year-old Portuguese citizen.
In April 2011 I started working as an English teacher with LELI School, in East Timor. My duties included teaching both general and business English, from Beginners to Upper-Intermediate levels, to ministries, private national companies and NGO’s staff. Meanwhile, I also started working as a part-time translator for the International Labour Organisation (ILO – a United Nations Agency). For ILO I translated websites, ministries documents, contracts, reports, economic briefs and all sort of business documentation. I’ve been working more and more as a freelance translator since then and in 2012 I completed a Post Graduate Program in translation with the City University in London.
I have also translated several websites and online applications.
I am motivated and hard-worker and I always meet deadlines, working well under pressure. I am also very versatile and I have a deep understanding of different cultures. I am eager to work and I can assure I will always do my best. I am also happy to provide references.
