Source text - English The hills across the valley of the Ebro were long and white. On this side, there was no shade and no trees and the station was between two lines of rails in the sun. Close against the side of the station there was the warm shadow of the building and a curtain, made of strings of bamboo beads, hung across the open door into the bar, to keep out flies. The American and the girl with him sat at a table in the shade, outside the building. It was very hot and the express from Barcelona would come in forty minutes. It stopped at this junction for two minutes and went to Madrid.
Translation - Spanish Las colinas que atravesaban el valle del Ebro eran extensas y blancas. No había árboles ni sombra de este lado, y la estación quedaba al sol entre dos vías de tren. Contra el lado de la estación, estaba la cálida sombra que proyectaba el edificio y, de la puerta abierta que daba al bar, colgaba una cortina hecha con cuentas de bambú que mantenía a las moscas afuera. El estadounidense y la chica que lo acompañaba se sentaron a una mesa en la sombra, afuera del edificio. Hacía mucho calor y faltaban 40 minutos para que llegara el expreso que venía de Barcelona. Se detenía dos minutos en este empalme antes de seguir su camino a Madrid.

We must live up to the fans' expectations, acknowledge them and localise knowing that to someone, somewhere, our work means the world.
