7 Jahre habe ich an der Fakultät für Bauingenieurwesen und Geodäsie der Universität Hannover als studentisch-wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft gearbeitet. Meine Hauptaufgaben waren dort die Anfertigung und redaktionelle Überarbeitung von Studienbriefen des Masterstudiengangs „Wasser und Umwelt“, gerichtet an HochschulabsolventInnen der Ingenieur- und Naturwissenschaften.
Nach inzwischen mehrjähriger Erfahrung als Dolmetscherin/Übersetzerin und mit hervorragenden Kenntnissen der deutschen Sprache in den Bereichen Wissenschaft und Technik fand ich, dass ich einen entsprechenden Abschluss vorweisen sollte. So entschied ich mich, das Biologie-Studium abzubrechen, um "Internationale Kommunikation und Übersetzen" an der Universität Hildesheim zu studieren. Das Studium habe ich im April 2009 mit den Sprachkombinationen Deutsch / Spanisch, Schwerpunkt Technik, erfolgreich abgeschlossen.
