I completed my trilingual University degree in Translation and Interpreting at... the University of Granada (Spain) with honours and distinctions and a one-year stay both in Portsmouth (UK) and Münster (Germany). By the end of my studies I was granted an internship by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Education to work on a research project within the Translation Department at the University of Granada, where I had the opportunity to develop my organization, teamwork and proofreading skills.
My specialized training in fields as different as Simultaneous Interpreting and Literary Translation make me particularly skillful in the efficient translation of varied subject whilst paying extraordinary attention to detail, as I have had the opportunity to demonstrate to individual clients, agencies and the translation service of UN volunteers. I have some experience in general translation, education, social sciences, tourism and medicine. Precisely my interest in this last field together with my endeavour to become as competent as possible in the sector has encouraged me to start a postgraduate course on medicine translation that I am completing now.
Although I am a certified translator in Spanish, English and German, my interest in foreign languages has also led me to study Mandarin Chinese and French, and pass a State exam to become a part-time English teacher at the Official School of Languages in Spain (Escuela Oficial de Idiomas). I am therefore adept at making presentations, communicating and connecting with diverse populations, and organizing material.More Less Message: Hello everyone!
