Welcome to my profile!

I am a native speaker of Russian and Ukrainian and I have been providing translation and editing services for over 17 years. I have a Specialist degree in translation (from English and French) and an MA in Journalism and Mass Communication.
During my professional career, I have worked on hundreds of translation and localization projects for direct clients and language service providers in North America and Europe.
I specialize in such fields as marketing, advertising, PR, social sciences, international development, IT, legal and financial fields as well as healthcare.
I can translate your documents, localize your website, proofread your copy, compile a glossary for your project and provide quality assurance service.

I guarantee confidentiality and sign non-disclosure agreements with most of my clients.
Some of my previous clients (via translation agencies) are Mastercard, Visa, Delta Airlines, Quest Software, Swype, UN, UNHCR, Fox News Corporation, Psychology Department at the University of Oregon, James M. Cox Jr. Center for International Mass Communication Training and Research (University of Georgia), Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, CentralAsiaonline.com and others.

A few words about my background: I got my first translation job at the age of 18 at the field offices of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Danish Refugee Council in Ukraine. A few years later I became a staff writer for the English language newspaper Kyiv Post, where I gained excellent writing and editing skills and in-depth knowledge of the social and economic issues I was covering as a columnist.
In 2003 I was a recipient of a Muskie Fellowship at the University of Georgia (USA) where I acquired my MA from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.

As a full-time freelance translator I have worked on many translation projects both as a part of a team and as a project manager. If necessary, I can quickly assemble a team of 3-4 dependable and professional translators to work on your project.

I am looking forward to hearing from you!
