French term
Retro-planning

Business/Commerce (general)
training programme
No sentence (sorry!). It's about a training programme and details sent to potential trainees.
I'm guessing it means a sort of countdown schedule but not really sure.
Many thanks.

Here's an example:
"...approach to time management and increased performance involves distributing workloads appropriately during the month and using the reverse scheduling method. ...

It means starting with the goal and working backwords.

Work-back schedule

A rétro-planning in French seems to go from the deadline to the current date (so, a sort of 'reverse schedule'), but a commonly-used term seems to be "Work-back schedule" / work-back plan / work-back project plan, back schedule, etc.
