Retro-planning

French to English Other Business/Commerce (general) training programme
No sentence (sorry!). It's about a training programme and details sent to potential trainees.

I'm guessing it means a sort of countdown schedule but not really sure.

Many thanks.

I'm sorry I can't give points but I wasn't entirely convinced about either solution having Googled them both. Maybe we don't have a precise translation in English. Many thanks all the same to both colleagues for their help which did allow me to move towards a solution.

Work-back schedule

A rétro-planning in French seems to go from the deadline to the current date (so, a sort of 'reverse schedule'), but a commonly-used term seems to be "Work-back schedule" / work-back plan / work-back project plan, back schedule, etc.
