Law on the legal profession
"Statute" is one of those words which exists in English, but is used less often than in Romanian! Although not a literal translation, "legal profession" would mean "the work of a solicitor" - and there are plenty of examples, see below:

And when I say "the work of a solicitor", I should add that this would not only cover their work, but also conditions - e.g. rights, pay, pensions etc. - the whole thing!
