this is for a golf club the title of the document and appears several times; therefore it is important I get the right phrase...
It is used in the following ways:

any bilingual golfers out there? Thanks, William for your thoroughly researched reply but I think that a Green Fee is a small amount you pay each time you play a round of golf - which may be waived or smaller if you have a membership to the Golf Course than if you don't... the sums invvolved in my text run into thousands of euros, so I think it can't be green fee.

And thank you, too, Cecilia but I am fairly sure it's not a "registration fee", as that would be something to register for something, and it doesnt seem right in this context.

I think it's, basically, just a membership, but I want to be sure, and so far all my research is inconclusive...

Anyone bilingual golfers out there?!!

Green fees

Individual/family green fees - green fees are literally "the right to play a round of golf", as in the Spanish version here :o)
