USH

Polish to English Medical Medical (general) Medical survey
An answer given by respondents to a question in a survey about awareness of various illnesses: 'USH' is named by one of the respondents as a medical examination procedure.

I can find almost nothing about this and I'm wonderiing if there is indeed such a procedure, or whether in fact it's a typo and should be 'USG'. However, it does pop up on Google, albeit rather infrequently . . .

TIA! :-)

I'm closing this, using the 'other' option because, having spoken to the client it seems that it is indeed probably a typo. Thank you, DarekS and Filip, for your help :-)
Caryl Swift (asker) Aug 10, 2006:
To Filip:thank you for the suggestion, but it doesn't fit here as the respondents were asked to list methods of early detection of illnesses :-)

To Darek:thank you!Yes,that's what I think as well, but I really want to be sure that I haven't missed something :-)
DarekS Aug 10, 2006:
G sąsiaduje z H na klawiaturze więc chyba chodzi o USG.

perhaps everything was normal (?), but I am not sure it it fits your context

USG is an extremely rarely used abbreviation, but who knows...
Note from asker:
Thank you for your help - but in this case, it is most definitely a method of examination and not a result. :-)
