Spanish term

un diferencial en el precio

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
Same contract as the other question.

"Y" otorgará a "X" un diferencial en el precio del 8% inferior al que aplicará a otros Almacenistas no distribuidores."

I understand what the sentence means but am having trouble fitting the bits together in English. I am not sure whether to use "price differential" or just leave "diferencial" out and translate the meaning (i.e. that X will be able to acquire the products from Y at a price 8% cheaper than other wholesalers that do not distrubute Y's products).

Any help or suggestions are welcome!
Thanks.

agree Patricia Rosas : except I'd use 8% less than (to avoid "cheaper")

Peer comment(s):

disagree AllegroTrans : does not make sense in context - it is a discount of a precise % - not a spread which is a range of values
