Swedish term

t. + family name

Swedish to English Law/Patents Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Extract from church records
Context (hypothetical names, of course):

Anna SVENSSON t. Nilsson t. Andersson t. Johansson

Apparently this 't' means something like 'former surname by marriage'. What does this abbreviation stand for? Is there a more concise way to translate it? Oh, and it's 'finlandssvenska' apparently.

Thank you.

Not too sure about this one, but could it possible be "tidigare"?
