Assuming that you don't mean 'veneered' (folheado), the term we use in the UK for metal, plastic, etc, made to look like wood is "wood effect". Note: this only applies to materials that are NOT wood but are made to look like it. It doesn't apply to cheap wood that is veneered or stained to look like solid wood (madeira maciça).
