This would seem to be the report of the "sindaci" the statutory auditors. Literally they mean events that occurred in the running of the company. The nearest equivalent is an external auditors report, which usually speaks of a "true and fair view of the affairs" of the company. Of course there are not "sindaci" in the UK or US.
