I am pretty sure you have a typo there and it's "entresijos", which means secrets, mysteries, hidden aspects, among other things:

The idea I get is that the (poor) character is like a puppet or marionette, I think. If it moves to one side, you can see the person behind it who is making it move, pulling the strings. In other words, the character is artificial, not natural.
I don't think "entrecejos" makes any sense here at all.

I think they are speaking figuratively. In the DRAE, one of the meanings of entrecejo is "ceño", forehead. Your sentence says: "un mal personaje se aparta (when you single it out) y se le ven los entrecejos al margen (and it leaves a trail, sort of on the sidelines, like a bad aftertaste). That's my take on this. There are many ways you can convey the meaning with another expression. Here are a few examples:
