Esto no es más que ese trocito de plástico que parece un boli fino sin punta. En España lo llaman lapicero normalmente - término poco exacto, pero ya está.
No es láser ni óptico - es el contacto con la pantalla que importa - por eso un lápiz de verdad con la punta muy roma también vale.

Es uno de los motivos para no tener un Blackberry o similar - yo tardaría varios segundos en perder el lapicero definitivamente!

Estilete
Un estilete o estilo (del latín stilus, plural: stili, tomado a su vez del griego στῦλος) es un instrumento de escritura. El término se emplea también para designar un accesorio de ordenador (LatAm: computadora), generalmente de PDA o teléfono inteligente. Normalmente hace referencia a una vara alargada y estrecha, similar a un bolígrafo moderno. Muchos estiletes son marcadamente curvos para facilitar su manejo.
