OUR MOTTO IS WORK WELL DONE
Just one option. I think 'motto' is much better than 'maxim' in English.

we delight in things that are beautifully made
OR we delight in doing a job well
OR we delight in a job well done
... depending on the context - what they do/produce
____
I think that you don't lose anything by removing the "maxim" altogether, especially if you want to make it sound pithy/concise - which tends to work better in English (we tend to be less wordy!)
