: Pues veo que hay variantes por países pero no se puede negar que "reinventar la rueda" es el más universal, basta hacer un recorrido por google con el site del país y simpre aparecerán hits

Ésta es la versión que yo conozco, que viene a decir que crees que estás haciendo algo original pero resulta que ya está inventado desde hace mucho tiempo. Creo que es el sentido del original... :-)
