Was steht denn in GB üblicherweise auf solchen Hinweistafeln?
Vielen Dank schon mal!

We apologise for any inconvenience
I can't speak for the US, but in the UK such sign boards are far less complicated than those seen in Germany. Generally they include construction company details, maybe just a logo. More recently there is a trend to apologise for any inconvenience during a rebuild/build and to give a phone number to contact in case of said inconvenience. I don't think you're going to find a direct equivalent of this term. I haven't yet seen 'Your construction company' or some such, but maybe you could use that instead.

Please be patient while we are rebuilding
The term is normally not personalized in other languages, so here is a conservative suggestion.
