I understand this perfectly but I'm having a hard time putting it into words, maybe one of you can help. This is a plan for signposting at a shopping mall in Spain that has a retail park located next to it. They want the signs to lead shoppers from the retail park to the mall and vice versa...

they don't mean on a road they mean, and this is what I've put so far, the interchange of customers between the retail park and the mall (which I may just keep). How they get from one place to the other isn't specified and, I guess, could be by any way possible (walking, driving, skating :) whatever...

Sounds like an access road, but if it's a sidewalk that's not going to work. If you know in which city this is located, perhaps you could find out on the web.
