AG

Czech to English Other Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs maturitni vysvedceni
Dobry den!
Hope someone can help please... Am translating a vysvedceni o maturitni zkousce and near the top it has the following:
Trida: 4.HA
Cislo maturitniho protokolu: 32
Skolni rok: 2002/2003
AG: 0059999

Can someone please put me out of my misery and tell me what AG stands for? The certificate is from a hotel and business academy if that matters....
Thank you.

Yes, of course - that ties it up. Thank you to both of you!
Zuzka Benesova Sep 25, 2008:
Lenka is right: the first part, i.e. the letters, is a part of the form as it is common for the whole school, the second part is completed separately for each student, hence the different size and style :-)
Charles Stanford (asker) Sep 25, 2008:
Hope you are right Lenka - it would make sense. The only thing is that the AG is in small font and the number itself is much larger and there is a big space between them- i.e. it does not look like part of the same number at all.... You are probably right though - it is about the only thing that makes sense! Thank you so much

It is not an abbreviation, but it goes together with the number that follows
Note from asker:
Thanks Lenka and Zuzka and Scott for the confirmation. Bit of a stupid question probably but I wanted to be sure. Thank you so much

díky Zuzko
agree Scott Evan Andrews : this is the case, just got off the phone with a sec. school teacher friend of mine, and it's just the first two arbitrary letters of a series here's AG, means nothing, could have been BZ
