témoignages parallèles
French to English
Art/Literary
Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting
Elles reflètent les croyances d’un peuple en pleine mutation, comme l’indiquent leur forme, leur décor et les témoignages parallèles recensés.
They reflect the beliefs of a people undergoing massive changes, as shown by their shape, their decorative features and parallel findings.
Does parallel findings sound right to your ear? Boy, do I hate translating "témoignages" - it's right up there with "le regard" and "valorisation" in my pet hates :-)
TIA

independent accounts
This is what first comes to mind.
But I'm pretty certain 'findings' refer to things whereas "témoignages" is always about people.

parallel findings/observations
sounds OK to me. Maybe add ""...other parallel findings" for clarity.

similar findings
I think you could get around témoignages by saying
"as testified by the shape, decorative markings and similar findings on the subject
I think that parallèle here is in the sense of similar, analogous, but "parallel findings" doesn't sound quite right to me

contemporaneous objects
my thought being that "temoignages parallèles" are objects of the same period that show the same aspects as the figurines, therefore confirming them.
