When you have one item, in this case a weapon, and you zoom in on the weapon so it fills the full screen and maybe you are looking at all of the gun and through the sights, the pixel resolution is too big/small for the computer monitor to handle and the screen starts to flicker/ flash/scroll. as its pixel resolution becomes out of sync with the software being used.
