Herpetofauna is reptiles or reptile life, especially of a particular region, or as Stasbetman states above includes many animals. However, "batrachofauna" refers specifically to frogs and toads and not to snakes, salamanders, etc., so, IMHO, the two should be separated as Reptilia and Batrachia, as indicated below:

: agree in general, but I think frogs and toads (batrachofauna) are being emphasized rather than amphibia in general, especially as frogs are mysteriously dying worldwide.
