Spanish term

modelos (in this context)

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Computers: Systems, Networks
I'm feeling a bit brain dead and 'models' sounds too literal. Here's the context . . .

Templates . . . . . . sounds good so far!

As i said, I was feeling pretty brain dead when I posted the question! :-)

models, type or archetype

I really don't see "models" as being out of place but if you are uncomfortable with it you might try "type" or "template", although this last seems a bit out of context here. In all cases, if you can, you might consult with the client. Technical writers are notorious for using words without much care for context.

templates

Another option, think it works a bit better than models :)

agree Marian Cantero (X) : agree.

Forms

I have come across the word "modelo" used to mean "form", and it seems to make sense here.
