English term

tip-in / tip-on

English to Spanish Other Printing & Publishing
A separate piece of stock bound into the pages of a publication. A tip-in is used to highlight, separate or organise different types of information.

Not to be confused with a tip-in, a tip-on is a page or other element, such as a reply card, which is pasted on to the host page.

He encontrado "encarte con cola", "inserción" y "lámina encolada", pero necesito dos términos, uno para cada uno del inglés.

Tip-in

Adding an additional leaf of paper or card into an already formatted printed booklet or magazine.

Tip-in cards are added to commercial magazines in the magazine industry to add in advertising and promotional cards. A tip-in technique sometimes has to be done unintentionally, as the result of a mistake by either the printer, designer, or client.
