The term being used in English is generic and is discussed as a side-effect to the HIV/AIDS drug etravirine: "Other possible side-effects include high blood pressure and changes in your blood chemistry." A check on the Web is inconclusive for me so far. In English, "blood chemistry" can be defined as: " ... the chemical composition of the blood. The levels of various substances in the blood ..." (See: http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-blood-chemistry.htm ). Could the Dutch equivalent be "bloedchemie" or "bloedsamenstelling" ... or do you have a better term? (I did look this up in the PROZ database and found nothing).
