French term

Opposabilité

French to English Law/Patents Finance (general) Banking
I understand the meaning of this term, but I would welcome suggestions on how to translate this (succinctly if possible) as a heading.
This is the paragraph:
Opposabilité
La résiliation par l’un seul des adhérents sera opposable à l’autre sans que la Banque ait une quelconque obligation d’information à son égard, l’adhérent ayant pris la décision de résiliation se chargeant de cette information.
Thank you.

(effect of the) binding nature of the agreement/undertaking

I'm trying to suggest a way round it which explains what it is about as there really is no one-worder for this one in English.

Mnay of the refs on this subject relate to third parties, altho\' the para in question does not seem to concern third parties but parties to the agreement. It\'s very sunny though today and I can\'t concentrate very well as I just want to be outside!!!!

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Yes, I think I will have to use something like this, a combination of yours and Lanna's and Mary's answers (will be binding on for sera opposable of course, but it's a way of rendering the noun I was searching for). You've given me some ideas."

constraint

and then 'sera opposable' would be 'may constrain'
'opposition' would also be OK, but not, I feel, 'opposability', which is not really English
