Norwegian (Bokmal) to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Football contract
Melding av forfall.
Spilleren har plikt til aa melde forfall til ansvarlig person i klubben naar han har lovlig forfall og ikke kan oppfylle forpliktelsene etter denne avtalen.

I understand "forfall" as "decline" - am I wrong? It doesn't seem to make much sense to me in the context of footballer injuries. I'm grateful for suggestions.
