trade sale
The exit options are IPO or trade sale. Your instinct was correct.
Clearly, 'our firm' here is speaking from the viewpoint of early-stage investors … not the entrepreneur who is counting on bequeathing the company to his heirs.

Comment: "Agreed. The context, which I should have specified, is a service provider's brochure.
My apologies and many thanks to all."

Our firm thus has the back-up to help companies in their development, from start-up through to quotation on the stock exchange and production
I think "industrial" is redundant

: if it was production it would be during the "phase d'amorcage". A company can't wait until its entry on the stock market to start producing industrially. Also, I can't see one consultancy firm covering both financial and industrial aspects.

yield on industrials
For me the answer can only be in the financial domain, I cannot see one consultant covering both "la sortie boursiere" and the literal industrial side of things.

There are two references on the net to "sortie industrielle" as "trade sale", so I can't confirm but it could be another possibility.

: so this consultancy will help a company up until "yield on industrials"? is that how you would phrase it in context? -- OK, but how would you phrase anyway? it doesn't work as it is

the fact that "the yield on industrials" or "trade sale" is a less hackneyed term than "production" does not mean it is not the right answer ...// I don't see why not ... if you try searching on the internet and you will see several thousand examples ...
