Cheeky one this - a personal request (at 350+ kudoz points, i think I've earned it!)
I'm looking at second-hand bikes, specifically a brand called Colnago that has its own particular fit system. The postings I'm seeing on a good Dutch website quote "framemaat" which i think is 'traditional' frame size, and often *bovenbuis*...
Does 'bovenbuis' mean top tube (length), the 'traditional' framesize (i.e. what's called 'center-to-center' in English), center-to-top, or some other measure?
Thanks for the help!

framemaat and bovenbuis
Hello Glenn,
Framemaat is the indication of the size of the bike so the framesize.
can you give me the sentence in which "bovenbuis" is used? Is it for men's bikes? Than it will refer to the height of the crossbar between the saddle and the stem.
good luck, Carlien
