From the following sentence:
Falls diese Unstände [Force Majeure] länger als drei Monate andauern, ist jede der Seiten berechtigt, von der weiteren Erfüllung seiner vorliegenden Vertragsverpflichtungen zurückzutreten, dabei werden die Seiten eine "Verrechnung" über die erbrachten und nicht erbrachten Leistungen zum Vertrag vornehmen.

Effect or carry out an offset sounds awfully clumsy.
Is there a more elegant way of saying this in English?

The parties will settle their accounts [come to a settlement] as regards services (not) rendered.
