heavy washes

English to French Marketing Textiles / Clothing / Fashion
Underground takes inspiration from the great outdoors with slouchy shapes, heavy
washes, aged fabrics and Fair Isle knits. Interspersed with a distinct military influence
using utility pockets, waxed fatigue fabrics and reinforced stitching, this range offers a
rustic utilitarian look. Khaki tones, mixed with earthy browns and greys are given a
modern twist with bold reds, blues and sulphur green. Graphics portray woodland music
festivals, insect life and all things weird and wonderful.

aspect délavé

Je pense qu'il s'agit de vêtements qui ont subi des traitements spécifiques (washes) pour obtenir un aspect délavé/usé.

Merci Françoise !
neutral jenbikkal (X) : I think that "délavé" implies a pale color; and I think that "heavy wash" clothes are actually meant to be dark...

If you enter "heavy wash jeans" in Google images, and then "jeans délavés", you will get jeans in all shades of blue, light and dark, and even other colours.
