El estreptococo del grupo B (SGB) es una bacteria que puede vivir en el tracto gastrointestinal, genital o urinario. Del 11 al 18% de las embarazadas en España puede tener el SGB en el tracto genital sin saberlo, ya que no ocasiona síntomas aparentes.
