: I agree with that, however: it's in the given text, and translations shouldn't endeavor to correct the original IMHO, not without a footnote.

I have to disagree, what client in their right mind would want a text that is not ready for publication? The important thing is that the meaning at sentence level is rendered without losing anything that affects the function (in this case informative)
