Russian to English Other Finance (general)

A company is incurring debt as a result of клиринговые операции that it carries out "with" its partners.
It has agreements with its partners for "окакзание услуг по проведению клиринговых операций"

So, presumably, it is making payments on behalf of its partners, and the debt arises because it has to wait for the money from its partners to be credited to its account.

But how should I translate клиринговые операции? Both "clearing operations" and "clearing transactions" sound odd to me. Maybe they are right, but I can't find much to persuade me.
