Spanish term
como unica respuesta focalizacion adecuada
Spanish to English
Medical
Medical (general)
Medical Report from Spain
Context: informe medico de un paciente que ha sufrido accidente cerebro-vascular. / Medical report on patient who has suffered CVA -stroke.
"Comentarios y evolucion: ..........presenta un deficit neurologico severo: ......hemiplejia derecha, pupilas puntiformes y, como unica respuesta focalizacion adecuada a estimulos dolorosos intensos."
I think it means that the patient has only responded to pain stimulus, but I'm not sure what exactly "focalizacion adecuada" means in this sentence.
Any suggestions very welcome.
Thanks

: Yes, since 'neurological' was already mentioned earlier in the sentence it would be good not to repeat it.

I would translate it as adequate/good neurological response.
