I may have understood what colonne radianti are, but that "intrecciate" puzzles me:
"Il Palazzo Comunale è interrotto dal Torrazzo, grandioso arco d’accesso alla piazza, recante su un lato lo stemma della città e le statue di San Vittoriano e San Pantaleone, patrono di Crema, e sull’altro il Leone di San Marco.
Al centro della piazza sorge il Duomo, costruito fra il 1284 e il 1341 da maestranze comacine sulle rovine di quello distrutto nel 1160 dal Barbarossa. La fronte monocuspidata è spartita in tre grandi archi a tutto sesto con elementi romanici (portale, capitelli a motivi vegetali, soggetta cuspidale a trentatre colonnine) e gotici (rosone in marmo bianco e rosa con sedici colonne radianti intrecciate)."
